Neon Statement – Magdalena Velevska MBFWA 2012

Another statement lip, this time from the opposite end of the spectrum. Designer Magdalena Velevska sent girls down the runway sporting a striking acid yellow lip. The inspiration: futuristic sea creatures, accessorized with sculptural masks.

To create this admittedly out there lip look Napoleon custom blended the yellow shade using his China Doll Gel Eyeliner in Alabaster mixed with Loose Eye Dust in Proud Peacock which rendered the lips super matte.

Nothing like fashion week to stretch the beauty boundaries!

Tell us, would you be brave enough to take a neon lip to the streets? And would you wear it as is or work the fluro theme with an eye-popping orange or pink?

I am just loving those nails! Would personally not be up for a yellow/green lip shade but definately love to see a pink or orange. I'm sure plenty of people would have fun with it and be bold & gorgeous enough to rock fluro lips.
